Police public meeting held at Police Station Nigeen | KNO

Srinagar, March 23 (KNO) : With an aim to strengthen relations with public & also to establish first hand contact with masses, Police station Nigeen convened a public interaction meeting in which a number of respectable citizens of Merak Shah Colony participated .

The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Nigeen Inspector Shri Manzor Ahmad. The participants highlighted various issues of public importance like eradicating menace drug peddling, drug addiction & some issues related to civil administration especially their demand of evacuation of SMC officials from the marriage hall of the colony.

During meeting participants appreciated the role of police in curbing the social crimes in the area. Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants SHO Nigeen assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time & the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority. He also sought the cooperation of participants in fighting social crimes. The meeting concluded with the vote of thanks.(KNO)
